Tanya Pein is a specialist in philanthropy investment. For the last 8 years, she has been on the investment committee of a $160 million endowment. She is on the investment committee of the private foundation of a family, whose bank has over $285 billion assets under management. She is a guest lecturer on investment at London Business School and Cambridge University.
She provides training to asset managers on social and ethical investment, and how to successfully market those services to clients. For foundations and family offices, she designs investment mandates and performance monitoring that reflect their mission and values, and provides investment education. For private clients and charities in the UK, she provides independent investment advice.
In 2002, Tanya co-founded a charity for social entrepreneurs. It is now the largest in Europe and has supported over 17,000 beneficiaries. Each beneficiary addresses a specific social problem, and builds a strong volunteer network in their community. Many also create sustainable employment. The charity has now expanded to India and South Africa. Tanya is a graduate of Cambridge University.
