Stephen Sackur

Stephen Sackur, HARDtalk’s presenter, has been a journalist with BBC News since 1986. Before taking over on the BBC News 24 and BBC World flagship current affairs interview program, he was based in Brussels for three years as the BBC’s Europe Correspondent. He has also been the BBC?s Washington correspondent and reported on events throughout the world including the last days of communism in Europe and major events in Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East. In November 2010 – Stephen Sackur was named ?International TV Personality of the Year? by the Association of International Broadcasters.

Mr. Sackur studied at Cambridge University and Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government.
