Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, IFC
Snezana Stoiljkovic became the Director for Central and Eastern Europe (CEU) in summer 2008. Central Asia region was added to CEU in 2010.
She joined the IFC in 1995 as an Investment Officer and has since worked in Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Southern Europe and Central Asia. Prior to becoming Director of the CEU region, she was based in Istanbul and in charge of business development in manufacturing and services. In addition, she had country management responsibilities for seven post-conflict countries – Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. Before joining the IFC, Ms Stoiljkovic worked as a consultant in the Economic Institute of Belgrade and in Questor Investment Management in London.
She holds an MBA from London Business School.
