Prior to founding Altera Capital, Kirill Androsov served as Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s Deputy Chief of Staff. Before this, he worked in the Economic Development and Trade Ministry as head of the state tariffs regulation and infrastructural reform department, and later as Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister.
Prior to joining the government, Mr. Androsov was Deputy CEO at Lenenergo in charge of strategic development, later becoming First Deputy CEO and CFO. Prior to joining Lenenergo, he held senior positions on St Petersburg’s Property Management Committee. He began his career as an investment manager at Hansa Investments.
Mr. Androsov is a board member at Aeroflot, LSR Group, A3 and GAO VVC. During his six years of government service, he served on the boards at RAO UES, Rosneft, Zarubezhneft, VTB and Svyazinvest.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Business School and a master’s degree with honors and an PhD in Economics from the St. Petersburg Marine Technical University. Mr. Androsov was included in the World Economic Forum in Davos’ list of Young Global Leaders.
