Chief Strategist, Managing Director, Troika Dialog
Kingsmill Bond joined Troika Dialog (UK) as Chief Strategist in July 2007. In this position, he is responsible for Russian and CIS Strategy in Troika Dialog’s Research department.
Mr. Bond has over 15 years’ experience in financial and strategic analysis. His major focus has been the emerging markets in general and Russia in particular, where he lived and worked from 1993 to 1998.
Kingsmill Bond joins Troika Dialog from Deutsche Bank where he has worked since 1997, consistently achieving top three rankings from the analyst rating agencies. His most recent position there was Head of GEM and EMEA Strategy, where he was this year again ranked number one by Institutional Investor for EMEA strategy. During his 10-year tenure with Deutsche Bank, he carried out a wide range of roles across the emerging markets, including Head of Asia Research Product, Hong Kong (2003), Head of GEM Tech Strategy in London and Hong Kong (2001-02), Consumer Goods Sector Analyst EMEA in London (1999-01), and Head of Russian Research in Moscow and London prior to 1999.
During his time in Russia, Mr. Bond worked for MC Securities as a fund manager for the MC Russian market fund and as an analyst on the venture capital fund ENR. Prior to this he worked all across the country as a consultant, and is a fluent Russian speaker.
Kingsmill Bond has an MA in History from Cambridge University, and trained as an accountant with Unilever. He is a CFA Charterholder.
