Venture Capital Investments Director, Troika Capital Partners
Artyom Yukhin joined Troika Dialog in April 2007 as Vice President for Venture Capital and in the current Director position is in charge of Troika Venture Capital’ venture funds and developing new venture capital vehicles. Mr. Yukhin is a member of Investment Committee at the Supervisory Council at the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) where he is responsible for supervising the investment policy and in charge of investments approval. Also Mr. Yukhin is a member of Expert Group of RUIE Innovation Committee.
Mr. Yukhin has extensive experience in IT and science-intensive project financing. Prior to joining Troika Dialog, he worked as an Investment Adviser in several international venture companies and backed some prospective Russian start-ups as a private investor.
Mr. Yukhin founded and managed several Russian and international companies (Artec Ventures and Artec Group, A4vision (acquired by leading Canadian biometrics company) and A4Lab, etc.) specializing in research and development of biometric technologies, computer image recognition and 3D-scanning. In 2005, Artyom was recognized as Leader in Informational Security with the “Shaping Info Security – 2005” Award.
Mr. Yukhin possesses 19 Russian and international patents for computer image recognition and 3D-scanning development. He is also an editor of several ISO standards in biometric technology.
Mr. Yukhin holds a MS degree in optical engineering from Moscow State Technical University, where he also studied at the Infra-Red Device Laboratory of the Electronic and Laser Technology Institute.
