Mail.ru Group is one of the largest Internet companies in Russia. The company owns the largest Internet portal Mail.ru, the largest online games company and operates two of the three largest Russian language social networks, Odnoklassniki and My World. It owns a 32.5% stake in the social network Vkontakte, and operates Russia’s two largest IM networks – Agent and ICQ. On top of this, the company holds small minority stakes in the world’s largest social network Facebook, social games company Zynga and a leading provider of online group discounts Groupon.

Mail.ru Group generates revenues principally from online advertising and IVAS, with most coming from MMO games. The share of revenues from IVAS was 55% in 1H10.

In November 2010, the company completed an IPO on the London Stock Exchange placing 3,336,000 new GDRs and 32,882,362 GDRs sold by its shareholders. At the IPO, the company was valued at $27.7 per GDR.
